I took a trip in Mid January 2019 to Bear Head Lake State Park in Northern Minnesota. I had planned to stay for 2 nights. I talked to the ranger after my first night and she said it was going to 40+ below that night so I decided to pack up. The park that night ended up hitting -49f. Glad I left as I don't think my equipment would have held up.
