Aadhar Card is not proof of citizenship
Section 9 of the Aadhaar Act, 2016 states that "The Aadhaar number or the authentication thereof shall not, by itself, confer any right of, or be proof of, citizenship or domicile in respect of an Aadhaar number holder".

Aadhar Card is not proof of Date of Birth
Aadhar number is not a valid proof for Date of Birth as per Circular 08 of 2023 and Office Memorandum dated 20.12.2018 issued by MeitY through UIDAI. This is also upheld in various judgements passed by various High Court and Supreme Court of India.

Aadhar Card can be allocated to citizens as well as non citizens
Indian residents (Citizens and Non-citizens), Non-residents of India (NRIs), and Overseas Citizens of India can apply for Aadhaar. As per the section 03 of Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016, every ‘resident’ is entitled to get an Aadhaar number by submitting demographic and biometric details.
