In this year 2024, because of global warming and the El Nino phenomenon
the coral reefs around the island are experiencing a mass extinction. Faced with this unprecedented destruction, the Guadeloupe aquarium is trying a new experience today: create a “Noah’s Ark” by harvesting living coral.

Will this Ark be enough? Did we reach a global tipping point? What will the upcoming hurricane season be like without this vital barrier? Oceaneye's team went diving around the islands in order to try to answer these questions for you, with the help of the scientists of Guadeloupe's aquarium.
