We are excited to present you with this fun episode detailing the styling and costume designs of the iconic 90s sitcom, The Nanny. Costume designer Brenda Cooper, along with Fran Drescher, made this eccentric nanny into a fashion icon, which has created a new generation of fans since it's premier in 1993. Designers featured during the show's run included: Todd Oldham, Herve Leger, Thierry Mugler, Versace, Chanel, Moschino, Valentino, Bob Mackie, and many more. The styling stands out because Cooper mixed mall style brands with luxury designers as well as back dating Fran's wardrobe to make it authentic to the character. The goal wasn't to create a fashionable character but a style that was specific to the personality and charm of Fran Fine.
