Shini tries to create an opportunity for Wenrou, and arranges for Daxi and her to watch a Teochew opera performance. Wenrou expresses her love for Daxi, and even tries to kiss him. This is caught by Wending and Shini. Shini is secretly delighted; Wending is shocked, but eventually accepts it. Daxi feels vexed and takes Ouyang Xuan's bracelet out to look and ponder. He decides to forget about Ouyang Xuan and tries dating Wenrou.
