Leica X1 - Still a good camera in 2024? Review & Sample Images

Here are my thought and quick review after my first week with the cheapest German built Leica camera you can buy, the Leica X1.

Is it the best street photography camera in 2021? No, but a used Leica X1 is about $400USD which might make it the best budget street photography camera of 2024.

The autofocus is terribly slow compared to modern cameras but the image quality is pure Leica especially in Black and White. Don't expect more than 3 fps in burst mode and then a good 15 or 20 seconds while the buffer clears, but ohhh those leica colors again are what make this camera still a contender for best street photography camera in 2024
