We spent a couple of hours in Rochelle, IL for its railroad days event. The Rochelle diamonds where the Union Pacific Geneva Subdivision and the BNSF Aurora Subdivision cross one another is located about 80 miles west of downtown Chicago. This is MP 75.3 for the UP and MP 83.7 on the BNSF.

Most of the action during our time here was UP focused. From run through traffic to UP trains coming in and out of the Global 3, and BNSF traffic, there is always action at this location.
