After the conclusion of CLOT and the Swoosh’s long-running partnership last year, Edison Chen’s label quickly pivoted to the Three Stripes and the two have not held back whatsoever. First tackling the adidas Superstar, the two most recently connected with Caroline Hu for a special collection of elegant Sambas. Now, we have a look at the reimagined CLOT x adidas Gazelle in a neutral “Halo Ivory” color arrangement.

For the duo’s unique rendition of the Gazelle, it starts with a suede mudguard at the toe that sports the aforementioned taupe color. It rests atop a textured knit base that emphasizes breathability while hosting a beaded version of the Three Stripes in white at each side. From there, golden “GAZELLE” text returns next to the Three Stripes while suede rejoins the look at the eyetsays that secure the rope laces. A suede heel tab rounds out the upper with debossed CLOT branding. An espadrille-stitched sole supports the sneaker, maintaining its artisanal-inspired flair.

Afin d’alimenter son nouveau partenariat avec la marque allemande, Edison Chen, designer de renom, présente la CLOT x adidas Gazelle Halo Ivory.

Après avoir imposé son style sur deux Superstar, c’est désormais à la Gazelle de passer sous le regard innovant du créateur.

Ce nouvel opus s’inspire du design de l’espadrille, une chaussure à enfiler popularisée dans les régions frontalières de la France et de l’Espagne. C’est ainsi qu’on observe une tige en toile beige couplée à une semelle en lin. Des lacets en corde, du daim marqué par le logo CLOT et un branding doré viennent compléter ce nouveau projet. D’ailleurs, ce n’est pas par hasard si Edison Chen a choisi la adidas Gazelle puisqu’il associe son look à celui d’une espadrille.
