After a cagey and uneventful first half, Berks County struck early in the second to take the lead. Heath rallied, piling on the pressure until Flynn Bolton finally levelled late on, latching onto a brilliant long searching ball from Nathan Stroomberg-Clarke to set up a tense finale.

Stroomberg then came up huge again — producing a crucial save in the dying moments to take the tie to penalties.

And then… chaos.

Both goalkeepers made big stops as the shootout swung back and forth. Berks County had the chance to win it with their final penalty — but smashed it against the bar, sending the contest to sudden death.

From there, it was only fitting that Stroomberg-Clarke would have the final say, saving the decisive spot-kick after Henry Watson coolly converted his to put Heath ahead.
