a note . wanted to choose excusively lyricsless songs this year for a challenge. and this character's story seems very fitting for a sort of montage sequence!! some specific details i worry got sorta lost (if i ever do something like this again im going to want to add a LOT more space for some shots to breathe) is the character's specific body language, where she reaches over to touch her wing a lot. as she grows and her wings get longer, it's a sort of way for her to parse how much she's also grown like. metaphorically. how unfamiliar she may be with herself without having a moment to breathe and introspect.

additionally, her hanging off the edge of the arena happens at a point when the walls are sculpted to emulate basalt columns, which is where she grew up. i figure she defaulted to muscle memory where she learned not to fall at a young age. anyways
