I started off reading innocent romance, and exciting fantasy novels—next thing I knew I was reading full-blown ✨erotica✨ and other lgbt+ genres (especially gay books). My mind was polluted—filled with fantasies, daydreaming and it was addictive/destructive and an idol. Intrusive thoughts would came out of nowhere, sometimes my mind literally couldn't stop making noise.

Reading led to daydreaming that led to self isolation and escapism that led to no desire to live in reality. I didn't want to die—I just didn't was to exist. Something as simple as reading can lead you to destruction (depending on what you read) it can escalate so quickly and so QUIETLY.

Jesus set me free! He gave me peace, joy, and meaning in life! I don't feel the need to flee from my reality and create my own. I'm so grateful that Jesus saved me! Jesus Christ died on the cross for all mankind! He loves you! 🩷
