The article “Grain Elevator” appeared in Model Railroader magazine, May, 1949. If you can't find the original article, it was reprinted in a book titled "Easy to Build Model Railroad Structures" by Willard Anderson. That book is long out of print, but you can find used copies on Amazon, eBay, and other sellers.

HO scale lumber: https://www.northeasternscalelumber.c... Northeastern sells stripwood in 24” lengths, by the piece, and in packages of 11” pieces. If you’re buying large quantities, buying the 24” lengths generally costs about 2/3 as much as the 11” packages.

I have absolutely NO recollection of where I found the feed sack pallets. The closest I could find on the web were these: https://www.hobbylinc.com/railstuff-b... which indicates the product is likely discontinued. You’ll have to get creative.
