You know what ? I love Wakasagihime, her theme and her stage theme. Some may argue that it's too dark for a stage 1 but damn, it's good. I had high hopes for this new IRON ATTACK! album so I listened to it as soon as I got it and I wasn't disappointed. Actually, I was a bit, but let me explain.


The last IRON ATTACK! albums were full of tracks where IRON-CHINO goes ham on the guitar. It might appeal to some, but I don't really like it. This album still feature some tracks where IRON-CHINO goes ham, but it also feature more melodic tracks like Mist Lake. And... good news... minusiyon ! I'm really a minusiyon fan. Usually, the IRON-ATTACK! tracks where she's the vocalist are outstanding because IRON-CHINO isn't facerolling the poor guitar (I know you can't faceroll a guitar) and instead build a melody around minusiyon' vocals. It make for some really nice songs, with the raw power of IRON ATTACK! tamed by a good vocalist.
