Train ride from Wakayama City to Kushimoto Japan. Please enjoy the countryside and ocean views!

Hello everyone and welcome to my channel Good Japan, Bad Japan. In this video I am riding a train from Wakayama City to Kushimoto, Japan.

Those of you who have followed my channel for a while know that I have been in Wakayama prefecture for over 3 years in the role of a teacher. My first job was teaching English as a grade school ALT in Kushimoto. After 1.5 years I moved to Wakayama City to take on a role as a Business English Instructor. Currently I am set to move to Tokyo to take on an even bigger job and return to a position that speaks to my IT experience from America.

Since I will be moving soon I am making this journey to Kushimoto to see some old friends and to take the pictures I never took when I lived in Kushimoto. I really hope you will check out my Hashi Gui Iwa video when it comes out because the pictures and video turned out great and I made a video I am truly happy to share with all of you.

A note about the train. The train I rode is called "Kuroshio" and it is a high speed train that runs from Wakayama prefecture to Osaka. It is often quite expensive and the total travel is about 4000 yen one way. If you take local trains it takes about 4 hours and costs about 2500 yen. The last train from Kushimoto heading west leaves at 8PM so you really have to plan accordingly if you don't have a car.

Regarding the scenery, it is early September, and while it is REALLY hot, it is also around harvest time, so all the yellow fields you see are actually rice stalks that are ready to be harvested.
