In this class, we're going to talk about how to customize your resume and touch on some of the things we've learned in helping thousands of job seekers and folks that are looking to grow their careers.

A lot of people think that they can make one perfect resume and send that to all companies. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Given technological advancements (like ATS, digital application processes, and the volume of applicants for each role), you really need to tailor your resume to stand out.

We’re not saying you have to redo your resume for every single job you apply to—that’s not a great use of your time. But if you go into the application process knowing how to read, analyze, and understand a job description (that is, the company telling you exactly what they’re looking for!), you’ll be better equipped to make adjustments to your resume that will help you show recruiters and hiring managers that you’re a good fit for a particular role.
