The latest line of helluva boss merch might’ve given away vassago’s role in the show. Let me explain.

So vassago resembles a parrot and in his announcement image there’s a line leading to a x, like a treasure map.

In the newest merch lineup vassago got his own mug. It again features this pirate treasure map, and has an X through his O.

The other character that is obsessed with pirates is Blitz. He too has an x through the o in his name, and he always uses old fashioned flintlock pirate weaponry.

In the lesser key of Solomon which helluva boss takes some lore from, vassago helps magicians find lost objects.

If we combine this all together, vassago is likely a detective. He will help blitz find something he’s lost, perhaps being stolas’s love for him.
