These are the top 10 countries with the most prisoners per capita in the world. In tenth place with 392 prisoners per 100 thousand people is Turkey. The next one is Uruguay. Number eight is the Bahamas. The next one comes Palau with only 77 actual prisoners, but it is a big number due to its small population. Number six is Panama. Number five is the United States with 1.8 million prisoners. Number four is the North Korea of Central Asia, Turkmenistan. And in the finals Rwanda is in third place, Cuba comes second and the country with the highest rate of prisoners in El Salvador with 1086 prisoners per 100 thousand people. That is crazy.
