蟾蜍山聚落—台北市唯一完整保留的空軍眷村 (Chanchu Mountain Settlement)

1950年, 韓戰爆發, 美國開始協防台灣。後來美國十三航空隊第327航空師進駐公館，協助國民政府空軍作戰司令部在蟾蜍山設立「聯合作戰指揮中心」。空軍在蟾蜍山的山腳下建立眷舍，形成一處空軍眷村，後來稱為「煥民新村」，現已登錄為台北市文化景觀，為台北市唯一完整保存的空軍眷村。
In 1950, the Korean War broke out, and the United States began to help defend Taiwan. The 327th Air Division of the Thirteenth Air Force of the United States stationed in Taipei City to assist the Air Force Combat Command of the Nationalist Government in setting up a "Joint Operations Command Center" in Chanchu (Toad) Mountain.
The Air Force built a military-dependent dormitories at the foot of Zhanchu Mountain, forming an Air Force Military Village, which was later called "Huanmin New Village", it has been registered as a cultural landscape of Taipei City, and it is the only fully preserved Air Force Military Village in Taipei City.

★自行開車：建議Google地圖衛星導航輸入「蟾蜍山聚落文化中心」，即可抵達目的地，附近巷道或台大校園設有收費場及停車格。
★Public transportation: The above Google map has marked the location of the bus stop near the Chanchu Mountain Settlement.
★Drive by yourself: It is recommended to enter "Chanchu Mountain Settlement Cultural Center" in Google Maps Satellite Navigation to arrive at the destination. There are toll gates and parking spaces in nearby lanes or on the National Taiwan University campus.
