संसद के चालू शीतकालीन सत्र के पहले दिन हंगामे के कारण लोकसभा और राज्यसभा, दोनों सदनों की कार्यवाही नहीं चल सकी थी. दूसरे दिन संविधान दिवस पर ऐतिहासिक केंद्रीय कक्ष में दोनों सदनों की संयुक्त बैठक हुई जिसे राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने संबोधित किया था. आज शीतकालीन सत्र का तीसरा दिन है. राज्यसभा की कार्यवाही हंगामे के कारण तीसरे दिन भी नहीं चल सकी.

यूपी के संभल में जामा मस्जिद में सर्वे के दौरान हुए बवाल में तीन लोगों की मौत हो गई है. एसपी ने इसकी पुष्टि कर दी है. शनिवार की सुबह जब कोर्ट के आदेश पर टीम सर्वे करने पहुंची तो स्थानीय लोगों ने बवाल शुरू कर दिया और पुलिसकर्मियों पर पत्थर फेंकने लगे जिसमें एसपी समेत कई लोगों को चोट आई है.
