revisiting this from 2021 when in isolation - sans mustache. do yourselves a favor and listen to the exquisite 1991 album “night ride home” and in particular, this track. i used to drive around my hometown with the windows down and blast this tune when i was 17. this was a time when my peers used to look at me in confusion and say “who is joni mitchell?” — i think that’s finally changing. in no small part thanks to brandi carlile. can’t wait to see joni back on stage (for the first time in my life!) next summer. feel free to sing along on the chorus since i don’t have @ilovelucius backing me up :)
