HDSE Studio (Coffs Harbour) got access to a lost private collection of analog demo reels recorded between the late 70s and early 90s. Each track was carefully digitally restored, professionally remixed, and soulfully remastered using a blend of modern analog gear and cutting-edge technology inside HDSE’s full-service commercial studio — not a bedroom, not a garage.

This is not lo-fi nostalgia. This is a hi-fidelity resurrection of voices that should’ve changed the game — and now finally can.

🎤 Meet the Artists of Pillow Talk
The voices you never heard — until now.

1. Darrel Devine – “Velvet Glove”
Once a background session singer for forgotten soul groups in Macon, Georgia, Darrel had the voice of silk and the confidence of Luther — but never the right producer. Until now.

2. Liana Rae – “Slow Burning Satin”
A lounge singer from Oakland with a voice that could make time stop. Her cassette demos were sent to three major labels. None called back. Their loss.

3. Solomon Miles – “One Sip of You”
A Chicago wine bar performer with Prince’s mystique and a glass-of-wine vocal style. His only EP was pressed on 20 records. HDSE found one in a thrift shop bin.

4. The Haven Brothers – “Stay for the Night”
A trio of cousins from Philly who never got past church tours. Their harmonies? Heaven. Their demo reel sat untouched in an attic for 31 years.

5. Raynelle Love & The Passion Frequency – “Bed Springs Confession”
The duo that almost got signed by Motown’s offshoot in '89, but politics blocked it. Their passion is raw, unscripted, and fully restored here.

6. Elijah Saint – “Make Me Melt”
The quiet storm you never knew you needed. This track was recorded in one take in 1985 — and shelved when his label dropped its R&B division.

7. T.T. Divine – “Sign It With Your Lips”
Theatrical, gospel-tinged, and electrifying. He performed at one Apollo showcase, then disappeared. This song proves why he should’ve stayed.

8. Victoria Moon – “Let the Bed Tell the Story”
A poetic voice from the Deep South with a Minnie Riperton-esque delivery. This was her only studio take — captured raw and pure.

9. Darnell & Cherise – “After the Rain, You”
Once married. Once broken. This song was the last thing they recorded together. HDSE gave it life — with tears still on the tape.

10. Neveah Rose – “Feathers on My Skin”
She sang lullabies in Harlem subways and recorded this track in a friend’s home studio. The quality was rough, but the voice? Magic.

11. Jamal Winters – “Moonlight Mattress”
Known locally in Atlanta as “the man who never raised his voice.” His acoustic style earned whispers, not fame. Until this.

12. Ivory Reign – “Wrapped in Your Echo”
Neo-soul before neo-soul had a name. His echo hadn’t reached anyone — until HDSE translated his dream-state vocals into vinyl gold.

13. Various Artists – “Pillow Talk (Outro)”
A medley fadeout that brings them all home. Each artist whispers one last word. One last kiss goodnight.
