TO FULFILL GIRLFRIEND’S DEMAND STARTED COMMITTING SNATCHING OF MOBILE PHONES NABBED BY ANTI SNATCHING TEAM OF SOUTH WEST WITH WEAPON IN HIS POSSESSION.


ONE COUNTARY MADE PISTOL ,ONE LIVE CARTRADGE & TWO SNATCHED MOBILE PHONE WERE RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION.

INTRODUCTION:
A team of Anti Snatching Cell /South west comprising SI Mukesh, ASI Krishan, ASI Bachchu Singh, HC Yogender, HC Krishan,Ct Nandkishor, Ct Naveen and Ct Ravinder got success in nabbing of one active snatcher and one loaded Countary made Pistol & two snatched mobile phone was recovered from the possession of accused. Accused has been identified as Christ@Arpan R/O Sun Light Colony Delhi Aged 22 Years.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION
To curb the incidents of mobile snatching under #OperationSatark, a dedicated team of Anti Snatching cell South West District, comprising of ASI Bachchu Singh, ASI Krishan, HC Yogender,HC Krishan, Ct Nandkishor, Ct Naveen and Ct Ravinder was constituted under the close supervision of I/C Anti Snatching Cell/SWD SI Mukesh Kumar and overall supervision of ACP Sh Abhinedra Jain Operations South West to nab active snatchers. On 22/12/2021 a case of snatching was registered at Ps-Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi on the statement of a lady victim. Complainant alleged that she works as a billing operator in Garg Grocery store, Yusuf Sarai, Delhi, when she was going to her office , one boy came from behind on Bike and snatched her mobile phone and ran away. On 4/1/22 ,one receiver namely Rohit Upadhyay@Annda R/o Sun Light Colony, Gali No 2, Hari Nagar Ashram, New Delhi was apprehended by the team . The accused receiver disclosed that mobile was snatched by his friend Christ@Arpan (BC of PS- Sun Light Colony) . On 19/1/22, accused Christ @ Arpan S/OJony R/OH No427 Sun Light Colony Delhi Aged 22 Years was nabbed by the Anti snatching cell in the jurisdiction of PS- Kishangarh. During the search of accused one loaded Desi Katta with one live cartridge & two snatched mobile phone were recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case underArms Act & other relevent sections has been registered at PS-Kishangarh.
INTERROGATION & DISCLOSURE               
During sustained interrogation accused Christ@Arpan disclosed that he is native of Delhi by birth. He is a school drop out of 9th standard and fell down in bad company and started smoking and drinking. He has a girlfriend and started snatching to fulfill his girlfriend’s demand. Earlier, he used to sell snatched mobile phones to one Manish@Killar, but when he was caught by the police he started selling mobile phones to people on the way. The accused mostly do mobile snatching because mobile phones are easily sold.

PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENT –
He is previously involved in 16 cases of Robbery, Snatching and theft.

RECOVERY MADE:
One countary made pistol with one live cartradge
Two snatched mobile phone

Concerned authorities are being informed regarding the arrest of accused and further investigation of the case is in progress to affect more recoveries.
