Throughout 2024 I’m trying to learn every tune in Wayne Erbsen’s book, Clawhammer Banjo for the Complete Ignoramus.
#25 of 30 is Wildwood Flower.
This is by far my favorite of all old time tunes. I will listen to anyone’s rendition of it, although the Carter Family’s version is the best. I will try to pick it out on any instrument I can, so you will hear multiple versions of it here.
