Chloe Anne Sullivan ... you know, everytime it comes to descriptions now, I feel like I've said everything I could have possibly said about this character, her relationships, and anything Smallville related, in general, so I'm going to move past the part where I rave on and on about how strong this character is, how much she's sacrificed, how pivotal she was to the show, and how inspirational she is, and just get on with the description for THIS particular video.

"Lose Yourself" is the BEST Eminem song, hands down. I felt like I could have taken an easier route, and vidded this song to one of the male characters from the show, if not, the cast, but Chloe Sullivan is the character I've studied closely for 10 seasons, and despite every second lyric being "he" or "his", I wanted to take up the challenge of editing to this song and see how far I got. Once I reached 2+ minutes, I said "what the hell" and finished to the end, and I'm so glad I did. I'm really proud of this one, and I don't have anything bad to say about it. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do! XD

Well, first I want to thank everyone for the massive amount of responses to the Season Retrospectives for Chloe Sullivan. I really appreciated how many of you kept watching, and waited patiently for them. I'm planning to upload a full series one, that collects all of them with a little intro to make it a non-completely-useless waste of an upload (hopefully in HD). And yeah, thank you so much! Unfortunately, this account will probably get axed soon - I don't even know if this particular song will be accepted by youtube (cries), so here's my backup account:    / welcometowatchtower  

Ugh. Still on 51%. Hmm... did you guys hear about Season Eleven? I know I'm going to read it, but I'm not sure how much I'll like it. Bryan Q Miller was my favourite writer for the last two seasons of Smallville, and he does such a great job with Chloe ("Hex", "Warrior", "Sacrifice", "Masquerade".) Honestly, I don't want to see them drag her around all willy nilly, and if she's only there to transition Chloe even MORE out of Clark's life, I'll not only stop reading, but not even consider it canon. I'd like to see her have a solidified role, and a really captivating storyline. I mean, hell, she was in 7/22 episodes of S10, and her disappearance in "Lazarus", and the mysteriousness surrounding where the hell she was -- it was one of the most interesting aspects of the first half! But, yeah. This brings me to another topic...

I know some people weren't huge fans of the idea of Chloe being Watchtower, because of how much it branched away from her series-long goal of becoming a reporter, but I think it was a natural direction for her character. I mean, other than being a reporter, the majority of the series proved to us that protecting the ones she loved, and being loyal was a huge part of WHO she was. Being in a role where it was her duty to protect those who devote themselves to protected others just spoke volumes, and felt like a natural next step in the evolution of her character on the show. You know, "Hostage" and "Fortune" had great moments between Chloe and Clark, and I understand the need to be OUTSIDE of the walls she hid behind, but you know, I'm sort of disappointed that Chloe was so prepared to leave that in her past, and have nothing to do with it - at least not in the same regards to what Watchtower used to be. Yes, she's going to be out in the field, recruiting, and trying to launch heroes into the crime-fighting, innocent-saving lives they're destined for, whilst juggling life as a reporter, and life as wife of the Green F-cking Arrow (man I love Chlollie!), but you know, Watchtower was just the PERFECT role for Chloe. I really hope the comics sort of touch base on that, and connect her to that role, in a larger capacity than before.
