We have been hearing quite a bit of industry hype around 5G and other emerging wireless technologies. Is the hype now being realized as networks leveraging these technologies are being deployed more broadly across the US? For Utilities, this poses both challenges and opportunities.

This session will provide an overview of the technology advancements and deployments around 5G mmWave, mid-band 5G, Fixed Wireless Access, and CBRS. The session focus will be on the business impacts of these deployments, and will discuss how Utilities can take advantage to grow revenues, while at the same time understanding the threats and challenges to their revenue streams.
