Hoosier Nation is officially in Peach Bowl mode.

Thousands of Indiana University fans wrapped around Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall Tuesday, waiting hours for a chance to pick up a commemorative Peach Bowl poster and rally towel ahead of the Hoosiers’ postseason matchup in Atlanta.

Faith Campbell was among the first in line, arriving at 1:30 p.m. shortly after leaving work.

“I rushed here right after work because I knew how long the line was going to be,” Campbell said. “Because this is huge, and I’m so glad to be a part of it.”

Her early arrival paid off. Campbell landed second in line, ahead of thousands of fans, all hoping to walk away with a piece of program history.

“It’s never going to feel real just seeing how many people are lining up, not even for a game, just to get a commemorative towel,” one fan said. “It’s crazy.”
