Lebanese Minister of Transportation Ali Hamiye denied reports that the Hezbollah Movement is "storing missiles" at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport.
Hamiye held a press conference regarding the news published by the British newspaper The Telegraph that Hezbollah is storing ballistic missiles from Iran at Beirut Airport, at a time when possible all-out war scenarios between the Israeli army and Hezbollah are frequently on the agenda.
In a press conference at the airport, Lebanon's Minister of Transportation stated that the Telegraph newspaper should get its news from official sources instead of obscure sources.
On Monday, 4 Lebanese ministers and 16 foreign ambassadors toured the Rafik Hariri International Airport in the capital Beirut, following media allegations that Hezbollah was storing weapons and ammunition at the airport facilities.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the field trip started at the airport's cargo center.
