What is server war?

Server War know as SvS is a bi-monthly event that starts at 00:00 server time and last 2 days. Your server needs to first be at least 60 days old.

Goal of SvS?
To earn more points than the enemy server.
Capturing the enemy throne is an automatic victory.

Scoring
Killing enemy troops are the best and most effective way of earning points.
You should always earn more points than you have lost.
Going positive in score shows the signs of a good player.
Temples are worthless from a point perspective. Avoid fighting over temples.
Collecting Fairies, Statues and killing enemy monsters also yield very few points.
The risk of killing enemy server monsters is not
worth the reward.

Rewards
High placing scores earn you well over 300k gems and a few hundred million resources.

Roles
Top 10 players on your server are big players providing that they can successfully stay unbubbled without fear of being zeroed by a single keep.
These players should focus on the following:
Defending / Capturing Throne
Force porting players
Attacking
Reinforcing
Scouting

Top 11 - 40 (mids)
Searching for enemy keeps
Attacking
Scouting if player can fully ghost troops
Reinforcing bigger players

40 and below
Searching for enemy keeps
Staying bubbled at all times
Scouting only if they can ghost troops.

Target selection
Basic rule of thumb is to always attack smaller players.
Determine how strong your attack march is and note this at how much you can expect to lose if you fail an attack.
Use this knowledge to determine if an attack is worth the risk if you might possible lose points.

Don't
Post server player coords on world chat.
Discuss plans on world chat.
Attack without making sure your proper gear and wall general is equipped.
Do not farm.
Do not worry about temples or your alliance city.
