Aisha Mills Recounts Negative Experience With 'Belligerent' White Woman

Some people find the term "Karen" offensive, but for others, it's a real experience of their interactions with white women.

BNC host Aisha Mills opens the show "AMplified" to discuss a personal experience she had with a white woman in Florida. Mills says in November, after doing election coverage, she and a colleague sat in a hotel lobby to chat when a white woman began to invade their personal space. Due to COVID-19, Mills said she established clear boundaries, but the woman couldn't understand why they wouldn't interact with her.

According to Mills, the woman later chased them around the lobby, interrogating them about how often they've stayed at the hotel and what they do for a living.
