مذيعة تلفزيون مصرية اشتهرت في فترة الستينات. بدأت مسيرتها كمذيعة ربط فقرات في "التلفزيون المصري" ثم قارئة للنشرة الفرنسية، فمقدمة برامج سياسية واجتماعية وفنية. حاورت عمالقة الفن وانتقلت للعمل في "تلفزيون لبنان" فقدمت "سهرة مع الماضي" و"محاكمات أدبية". وقعت تغطيات في "مجلة الحوادث" حيث عملت كمراسلة أيام الحرب الأهلية اللبنانية. وهي تحمل ماجستير في الصحافة من "جامعة نورث وسترن" في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية.

أوجد برنامج "مرايا" أسلوباً جديداً أكثر رقيا للحوار المتلفز، ومن خلاله نجح ريكاردو كرم في أن يقدّم لجمهوره حوارات كشفت الكثير عن الحياة الخاصة لأكثر من ٢٠٠ شخصية عربية وعالمية، فحققت أعلى نسب المشاهدة آنذاك، وصار البرنامج محطة ينتظرها كل راغب في التعرّف الى فصول من حياة تلك الشخصيات وكشف ما خفيَ منها.

Leila Roustom is an Egyptian television presenter who became famous in the 1960s. She began her career as a TV anchor on Egyptian television and during her television career from 1960 to 1967, she presented many political, social and artistic programs. She also hosted many famous art and politics through her programs, in addition to working as a correspondent for “Al Hawadeth” covering the Lebanese civil war.

“Maraya” took the basic Arabic talk show to new levels where Ricardo Karam explored the personal life of over 200 important guests while gaining the highest television ratings for a show in this category.
