Mickey Mania/Mickey's Wild Adventures (Genesis, SNES, Sega CD, PSX) - Full Playthrough

An interesting game for sure, and one I feel many people tend to overlook. Mickey Mania (or Mickey's Wild Adventures on PSX) was produced by Sony; and released on the Sega Genesis before being ported to SNES (though that port was very poorly done). They also updated and released it for the Sega CD, adding in CD quality music and more voice clips. Down the line, Sony would sell it on PSX with a new name, but only in the Pal regions for some unknown reason.

Mickey Mania originally was originally meant to be a celebration of Mickey's 65th birthday; but due to the time crunch caused, would instead be repurposed into a journey through some of Mickey's greatest moments in his cartoon career battling some of his best villains such as the Mad Doctor and Pete.

In a modern setting, Mickey Mania has almost entirely been forgotten, but it's legacy lives on, as games like Epic Mickey did have a similar concept to Mickey Mania (going back to the past of Mickey and exploring his bright future). Some have even drawn connections to how Sonic Generations had a similar idea years down the line. But, for the most part, Mickey Mania seems to have been left to the wayside; even compared to other Disney games like Mickey Mousecapade and The Magical Quest.
