#8 Food - Did They Carrot All?
Food. One of the most dangerous items you can order online. Why? (I think you know) Well, you are going to consume this mysterious object you just ordered.
This guy ordered eight carrots online. But when he received them in the mail, he found out that they had shipped eight bags of carrots instead. Since one man can hardly eat eight carrots, let alone eight full bags, he offered them to friends on social media.
When you find out you can order ice cream online, you may wonder how it is possible to keep it cold. But when you receive it and realize that all they had to do was keep one ice cube on it, everything starts to make sense.
Are clowns always funny? Not really. But sometimes you hit the jackpot with hilariously trolly clowns who have a sense of humor.
It’s kind of the same thing as when your sister says she’s going to draw a picture of you. Do not trust everything you see.
Nothing is more disappointing than finding out someone is wearing a mask and when they take it off all you see is a blank stare, void of feeling or personality. Is everything you’ve ever been told a lie?
#7 Flowers - They Must Be Lion
Most of the time, when someone says “nailed it,” they mean, “oh my gosh, what a complete failure.”
This lady ordered an adorable bouquet in the shape of a lion from 1-800-flowers. But when the flowers arrived, it looked more like Mufasa after Scar got ahold of him and he was trampled to death by wildebeests.
I guess that’s better than getting a piece of greenery rather than a colorful flourishing splash of wonder. At least the onions are edible, though they don’t look so pretty sitting in your windowsill. Though, it is possible we can start a trend.
But then again, the worst flower order that was ever purchased online has to be the onion. That’s right. Poor Suzanne ordered a Spring Show from Sainsburys. You would imagine an array of various spring-like flowers. That’s what Sainsburys thought too. But, obviously, they were out. So they just replaced the order with a bunch of green onions. Close enough.
#6 Cake - Are They Blind?
Cake decorating details are known to get a little lost in translation. Or in this case…auto correct.
The customer said they wanted a white cake with white ball dots, a grey ribbon and a bow. They then wanted a tiny blonde girl on top. Wanted. But what they typed was blind girl. So, the cake decorator molded an adorable little blind girl on top of the cake. To make matters worse, the girl was not blonde, but a brunette.
Happy 21st birthday, Laura, who can see perfectly and whose hair is blonde! At least you’ll never forget your 21st birthday.
I guess it’s better than having your text read “Please have text read and make Susan bigger.” Of course they meant to make the biggest word on the cake Susan
Or I want sprinkles. Of course they meant to add sprinkles to the cake, but nevertheless. They did add sprinkles, but not the kind the customer was expecting. Hopefully they have sprinkles at home to manually add. Cause eating the word sprinkles isn’t quite the same.
Take this as a note that whatever you write, the cake decorator will write. So they wanted “Happy birthday on both.” Written on both cakes or “happy birthday” on both cakes.
But then again, any phrase, no matter how disturbing, is better than mutilating a beloved cartoon character. Rest in peace, SpongeBob, at least you were ready.
And Elsa, we didn’t want to let you go.
