HAMK participated in Finland’s largest digital culture event, Assembly Summer 2025, held at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre from July 31 to August 3, 2025. The event brought together over 25,000 gamers, coders, and tech enthusiasts.

In the aftermovie, you’ll get a glimpse of HAMK’s booth, which showcased innovations like the Haptora smart sleeves, cosplay, and of course, gaming. Joining the action were HAMK students, researchers, and study advisors from the fields of technology, design, and business. HAMK’s degree programmes are closely linked to the themes of the event – whether it’s game development, user experience, visual design, or digital business solutions.

At HAMK’s gaming table, we also welcomed TikTok creator Nikke Eskelinen, who got to test the smart sleeves live on the Expo stage.

HAMK promotes sustainable cosplay culture, and for the first time, the event featured a Sustainable Cosplay honorary mention, highlighting responsible and creative approaches to character creation.
