Why the Amazing Spider-Man is an Incredibly Underrated Masterpiece

After over half a year in the making, it's finally here! I was originally planning on making this video for No Way Home's release, but I got sick the day I was supposed to record my lines, and by the time I was healthy again, classes were about to start, so I decided to delay the video for the tenth anniversary for The Amazing Spider-Man.

This is the first video essay I've made, so I'm hoping it isn't too bad. But if it is, just keep that in mind. Almost nobody's ever good at something when they first try it. So, if this wasn't very good, that's probably why. But anyhow, I hope you enjoy this video essay!

I was always a massive fan of Marc Webb's Spider-Man films, and I never really got why people disliked them so much. I think the first one was especially good. Everywhere I went, people kept saying that "Andrew was a good Spider-Man, but his movies were pretty bad." After hearing people say that dozens of times, I was pretty angry. There weren't nearly enough people who liked these films. Well, at least in English-speaking countries. I noticed that Spanish speakers like these films a lot. But nonetheless, I wanted to show people why I thought these movies, or at least, the first one, were really good and deserved more praise.
