Harlem's BEST SOUL FOOD! Is Amy Ruth's Chicken & Waffles Worth $22?

When it comes to Southern soul food in Harlem, there are loads of options. Many will state their go to as Sylvia's in Harlem, as it is a Soul Food icon. Others will attest to Marcus Samuelsson's Red Rooster in Harlem, as a more modern take on Soul Food. But what if I told you that my favorite Harlem soul food restaurant was Amy Ruth's? Amy Ruth's in Harlem is one of the best soul food restaurants in Harlem and it makes a legendary Harlem chicken and waffles.

In this video, we will eat lots of different soul food items. We will eat Amy Ruth's corn bread, their collard greens, and their homemade baked mac n' cheese. But their chicken and waffles is hands down the go to item there. Dubbed the Reverend Al Sharpton, if you're willing to venture into the northern end of Manhattan, I highly recommend you check out Amy Ruth's sometime for some authentic soul food in NYC!

This will be a fun chicken and waffles mukbang, but it will also be a tribute to Harlem soul food and a restaurant I have a lot of affinity for. This place is hands down one of the best fried chicken in NYC and one of the best southern food restaurants in NYC as well. Give it a try!
