Defective MOZA Slypod Pro

I used my Slypod Pro for the first time on a client project this week. It was a short shoot of just about three hours, doing basic monopod extension and retraction. At the end of the shoot, the gear went into the back of my little crossover vehicle. Using the app, I never saw battery level fall below 90%. It usually holds a charge well when not in use. I pulled out the gear and loaded into my workshop where it all usually lives. I went to power it up today and got no response out of it. I hooked it up to charging cable — also nothing. It’s been on charge for nearly three hours and it is still dark and not operating. There is warmth near the charging port, but no indicator light and no response from any button presses. I was able to power it on after 8-10 hours of being off the charger. MOZA Master app showed 100% battery level, but when I went to use it this morning, it was back to being unresponsive. This unit is now completely unreliable and I would call it defective and in need of repair/replacement.
