If you were told you could buy an Aston Martin DB5 for just £40,000, you might think you'd scored the bargain of the century. And that's exactly what an Oxfordshire-based firm called The Little Car Company is offering.

However, there's always a catch with these things and in this case , it's that The Little car Company is exactly that: a manufacturer of little cars...

At 66% the size of the much-loved original DB5, the LCC Aston is a very expensive toy, either for the children of very wealthy parents, or for those same very wealthy parents to get from one side of their country estate to the other in a bit of style.

But even so, what a toy it is! The craftsmanship on display is every bit as robust and as plush as it was in the original Aston, and the attention to detail is properly painstaking. This battery-powered Bond car is driven by a 7bhp electric motor fed by a 1.8kWh lithium-ion battery, and will get up to 30mph with a favourable wind.
