The Spoons' Sandy Horne on dealing with fame - Interview
March 25, 2022 - The spoons came out of the gate in Canada with lots of buzz. Their first single release from the debut "Arias & Symphonies produced three Canadian hits in 1982 - "Nova Heart", The title tune, and "Smilling in Winter." The Spoons biggest single would follow on their sophomore LP "Talkback." in the form on "Old Emotions." In 1984 the band was involved in the films "Listen to the City" which features American Poet, musicians Jim Carroll and the Spoons Sandy Horne. It would also produce one the groups signature tune "Romantic Traffic. On this clip with Sandy Horne we talk about dealing with early fame and so much more.
