✪ The differences between the Dreamcast and DX versions of Sonic Adventure are quite infamous. An obvious giveaway is the textures, models, and lighting changes. But overall, DX is a buggy and broken version. ✪ I personally prefer the Dreamcast version because it retains its original charm and many of its features. Sure, the game is locked at 30 FPS and 4:3 but honestly, it’s worth it than playing the DX version imo.

✪ Also yes, I do know that the DX version was originally in 4:3, but for some reason, Dolphin Emulator won’t set the game to that aspect ratio, so I guess it’s forced at 16:9 stretched. That’s why the footage is like that for DX in this comparison.
