The M-83 is a Terephthalic Acid (TPA)-based, low toxicity, smoke 'nade the US military uses for training and for screening troop movements. After about a year of experimenting with the goal of building better versions of these, and similar, devices, I finally recreate and test this starter formula. A Starter Mixture accepts the ignition from the fuze and safely amplifies it to ignite the smoke mixture.
