In the beginning, there was Plant, a devout citizen of the Holy Nation, seeking out to build a farm, a family. The usual holy stuff. Plant though at some point came to learn that his holy brothers weren't so holy after all, and got in trouble with the law. He didn't do nothing though?! They even wanted to send him to "Rebirth". That is when he gathered all his courage and managed to sneak away. Being a wanted criminal now, with little belongings only he took his wife and a befriended couple and sought out to discover fertile lands to the north, to the end of the world if necessary, where the wraith of the Phoenix couldn't reach him...

So my goal was relatively simple, build a small farm and so on. A farm doesn't have strong walls protecting it though, and that's not optimal when hordes of cannibals are after your flesh. But with strong doors, some turrets and the occasional help of mercenaries or our new allies the Flotsam Ninjas even the Holy Nation that against all odds traced us down couldn't bring us down. We even managed to free more slaves from Rebirth who worked on our farm for some time until it was time to say good bye, seeking their own adventure...    • Kenshi base: Tax Station (The Hook)
