How I diagnosed and replaced faulty coils in a vintage Honda motorcycle. Using a basic multimeter, I checked the ignition components and determined the non-original coils were weak and needed to be replaced. Discussions include the recommended spark plugs for Canada, tracing wiring and cleaning corroded connectors and then installing new coils, plugs, wires and boots.

The intent of these videos is to help beginners understand how these bikes work and how to fix them when they don't! By understanding the basic systems and using simple tools, it is possible to do a lot of work yourself and keep the cost of repairs to a minimum.
