If you are watching a video and it’s got FIFO in the title (or the channel does) then chances are the information isn’t going to be correct. While these videos look well made, often the information isn’t correct, spruiking about surface jobs that aren’t there anymore, then getting the pay rates wrong. 

They are using overseas footage and conflating Coal and Hardrock mining in the same videos. With most of these videos it’s easy to see (form someone in the industry) that the person making the video has no practical mining experience.
