What is Envoy Proxy and Why do you need it for Microservices | IMESH

Envoy Proxy is a service proxy graduated by CNCF. Envoy is installed as a side-car proxy to each service in microservice architecture and abstracts the network communication from the application logic. The developer can continue to focus on writing business logic and platform teams ( including SREs) can use the network logic to define and maintain the network infra using Envoy.
