I was timed out of doing a decent recording of the French Suite No 5 in G Gigue (BWV 816) so did a recording at my Makati home on my Roland C-200 Digital Organ (using the basic 8 ft harpsichord sound). As with most Bach gigues, it fugal, with the second section based on a fugal inversion (upside down version) of the main subject. Having said that, there is nothing academic sounding about this piece and it is one of the most tuneful and famous of Bach's suite gigues.
