This floating shelf is made of big leaf maple and features a discreet lighting set up.

Just underneath the shelf there is hidden under some frosted acrylic very bright leds that use very little power yet provide an enormous amount of light, ~ 3500 lumens at full brightness. I paired it with a 60 watt ac/dc power adapter and a remote control to control the leds.
