Fall Footballs & River Blow Ups

Описание к видео Fall Footballs & River Blow Ups

I love topwater season and never want it to end! When the days start getting shorter and the mornings are crisp, it feels like it's going to happen any day. So, when I find a topwater bite like I had this day in October, it's something to cherish and be thankful for!

This was a day in mid-October that I spend on the Kings River in Arkansas. We have not had measurable rainfall in months, and the poor river is in awful shape. There is moss everywhere, which I rarely see. There are hardly any areas that the water is moving, and some of the pools are only a couple feet deep.

These conditions are tough on the river and it's inhabitants. But...the fishing pressure on the fish is nearly zero. So, if you can get to them, they can be aggressive. I got lucky this day, with a couple hours of cloud cover this day. Within about a 90 minute stretch, I caught 5 fish over 16". It was a wickedly awesome bite, and the fish were uber aggressive.

Thanks for going along with me. Hopefully you enjoy the adventures as much as I did!
