Torsion Adjuster Key Broke - Factory 2011+ HD

We have seen 3 cases of 2011+ Chevy/GM HD trucks that have broken the torsion bar adjuster bolt but recently we had one that broke the adjustment key shortly after the bolt was broke and the owner did not know until the key failed. Luckily the failure is not something that is risk of crashing but it can lower the truck on the one side enough to contact the tire to the fender and the truck will want to pull hard to the side that fails.

This video is to show you the difference we found between a couple different adjustment keys to determine if we had a factory failure or is this truly how loose they fit on every 2011+ HD and as you can see between this video and the following factory, ProComp & Cognito that is how they are.

Problem is that the key floats around in the torsion bar cross member and when having a larger lifted truck with large tires and find the suspension cycling more than normal the key can shift to one side and the adjustment bolt head has nothing to stay centered on and can be at risk of sliding off the side of the key and then break from the pressure at an angle. Shortly I will be posting a more complete write up on this that will have better pictures of the problem but these are the video clips I started working on.
