The Cango caves in South Africa are absolutely wonderful. It's a must see when you visit South Africa. The cave halls are enormous and very accessible to visitors. This diorama was a huge challenge because there are almost no reference material on similar builds and I had to improvise all the way through this process. The only things I were comfortable working with, was the plaster of paris, resin and sculpting material. The rest I had to figure out myself.
