GRAHAN Village - Hidden gem of Parvati Valley • Offbeat trek from Kasol

Описание к видео GRAHAN Village - Hidden gem of Parvati Valley • Offbeat trek from Kasol

We took a bus from Delhi to Kasol. On reaching Kasol we straight away embarked on a trek to Grahan village. According to the locals whom we met on the way, it was an easy trek. But it seemed a little arduous because my backpack was quite heavy compared to the ones that my other two friends were carrying. Somehow as we moved ahead, the weather turned cloudy. So we thought of taking a cab to our destination. No it wasn't any Uber or Ola cab but a local one which covers this elevated stretch nearly 10 times a day leaving its shock absorber in a very poor state.

The cab dropped us after a 5 km long ride. After a brief halt we resumed our trek. And guess what, it began to rain. Being in the midst of the jungle, there was no shed anywhere around so we put on our raincoats and marched ahead.

All drenched, we reached our homestay. There we sipped some hot ginger lemon honey tea while soaking in the beautiful scenery and then went on for a tour of the village.

A quick summary of this trip:
